Rebinding books supplies for beginner

I love my books, they've been like my own babies, but there are old softcover books that've been damaged. I want to start rebinding books and have them forever. Honestly, I never rebinding books all my life lol. So guys, please tell me, what supplies should I have to begin this

for starting out with book rebinding the essentials you need are good quality binding glue a couple of clamps to hold the book tight while the glue sets and some heavy-duty paper or linen for reinforcing the spine also having a bone folder can help a lot with folding pages neatly you can add decorative paper or leather for the covers later as you get the hang of it. hope this helps you get started.

don't worry it's totally doable even for beginners you'll get the hang of it. pretty sure @WarpGateEngineer808 already said most but it would be nice if yu could also include press or heavy books + wax for thread! yt has lots of tutorials you can follow anyway

Welcome to the rabbit hole! TBH, all you need are some PVA, bone folder, binder's thread, needles, some book board, cloth, or leather, and some good paper for end sheets. That's all the supplies that will CHANGE YOUR LIFE. Update us here when you got progress.
