where can i find good bookbinding supplies? im very new at this and i would probably need help to make my journal a book. any suggestion will come in handy. ive been seeing a lot of supplies on ebay and etsy but im not sure which ones are best for begginers.

I'm getting mine mostly from Amazon but if I stumble upon a store around the corner where I can do wholesale purchases, I'd switch. After all Amazon doesn't always offer discounts and coupons and such so, guess it's better to have a reliable store you can just drop by in case yuo run out of supplies.

Theres a specific forum here for classified ads, buy, sell & trade.. so you can post whatever you need or want there. Or you can buy online, don't mind if you're a beginner or whatever, go right at it and learn along the way.

agree with @theg0dfather but then again it's not wrong to ask here. i suggest you try looking at a local art surplus store to see and have a feel of what you really like?

I'm sure you got a local store in your town that sell book binding supplies. but if you want to get it online, I usually go to Amazon

Hey, have you found anything yet? I'm really curious to know if you stumbled upon a nice beginner friendly kit or shop. I've been searching a bit as well

any kit that has thread, needles, papers and most importantly instructions will be a good beginner choice. With ebay and etsy aside, you should check out amazon. For something more specialized you can see what talas and Hollanders have to offer. You can even check out some local craft stores.
