Help: Error #23 on BQ-270C

Not sure if I'm in the right forum but I could really use some help. It's been a frustrating couple of days with my Horizon BQ-270C since I've been getting an intermittent error message that says #23 Missing Spine/Board. I couldn't exactly figure what's the problem since the covers are stacked properly in the cover feeder, and the machine seems to be pulling them down. It will run a few books perfectly, and then suddenly throw the error. It's almost as if the sensor isn't picking up the cover at the right moment.

Has anyone dealt with this before on a BQ-270C? I've checked for any paper dust or debris on the sensors, but everything looks clean. Thanks for any advice you can offer!

Make sure to check the cover sensor alignment and wiring. Often, just a minor shift or a loose connection can lead to those pesky #23 errors popping up from time to time.
